Automobile warranty decoded
The warranty is basically a guarantee of reliability that the purchase has been made of a product under governing conditions such as:
• Non-abusive use
• a willingness to cover defects that may arise after the date of sale
• repairs for a malfunction within a stipulated amount of time post purchase
• refund or a replacement of automobile under special circumstances or overlooked technical snags
• periodical replacement of tires, oil, wind-shield wipers for a set period of time post purchase
The auto warranty can either be a part of the original purchase price or extended for a fee. The warranty could cover the automobile even after the original warranty has expired and renewed at an extra cost.
